Reduced Billing Frequency - My Bill, My Time...

Reduced Billing Frequency is a program that allows you to decide how often your bill will be printed and mailed to you. You tell us when to send your bill, based on the when your total account balance reaches the maximum bill amount that you choose. 

It's free and convenient! Reduce the number of checks you write and mail!

How it works

  • You set a maximum bill limit, not to exceed $50
  • We hold your monthly bills until a) your amount owed reaches the limit you've selected, or b) two months have passed.
  • Your bill is delivered for payment.
  • There are no penalties or late charges for the months your bill is less than your selected amount

Who qualifies

This pilot program is currently limited to qualified customers in Genesee, Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, St. Clair and Tuscola counties. The program is designed for customers with monthly bills that are less than $50 a month, and who pay their DTE Energy bill in full and on time. Customers enrolled in eBill, Automatic Payment Plan, a Payment Agreement or Electric/Gas Choice, or an account with arrears, are not eligible.
