Online Checkout Dispute Process

The Dispute Process was created to give the user the ability to disagree with Detroit Edison transaction(s). In addition, the dispute process will allow the user to notify Detroit Edison of a transaction that is not on Detroit Edison records but the user shows with Detroit Edison.

The dispute process is simple to use. There are two different types of disputes in the Online Checkout system:

Transaction Disputes - can be made only at the hourly level under the "Checkout Hourly" or "Checkout Tag" screen.

Additional Disputes - can be made under any screen in which data has been retrieved through the query process.
