Q: What do I need to register for Online Account Management?
A: To begin using this service you will first need a Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you are a large commercial, industrial, manufacturing or institutional business your DTE Energy Account Manager can assist you with obtaining a PIN. If you do not know who to contact, please call 800.477.4747 (Customer Service) for assistance. Small business customers may simply register here.

Q: Why do I need a Personal Identification Number (PIN)?
A: The PIN will be used to identify your credentials and validate that you have permission to register for online access to your DTE Energy accounts. You will only be required to use the PIN the first time you register your accounts.

Q: Once I have my PIN, what do I need to register for Online Account Management?
A: All you need is your Federal Tax Identification number and your nine-digit DTE Energy account number. Registration is completed online.

Q: How many users can access our DTE Energy accounts?
A: The number of user profiles you can create is not limited. However, there can only be one administrator for your company's online account.

Q: How does the Company protect my personal information?
A: We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring personally identifiable information. When we transfer certain types of sensitive information such as financial, personal, account, or service information, we redirect visitors to a secure server where all communication between your computer and ours is scrambled into hard to decipher code and then translated back to meaningful communication. Q: Why is DTE Energy providing this service?
A: DTE Energy customers have expressed a need to obtain their billing information in an easier and more accessible manner.

Q: I can already access some of my DTE Energy accounts online and even pay my bill online. Can I do this for all of my accounts?
A: If you are a large commercial, industrial, manufacturing or institutional business customer you can pay your bill online for FREE using your checking or savings account. Payments can be made immediately to your DTE Energy account. If you are paying by bank account, you may also schedule payments for a future date.
