Landlord-Tenant Property Protection Plan

The Landlord-Tenant Property Protection Plan protects your real estate investment by notifying you anytime we send your tenant a service interruption notice, such as a shut off notice for nonpayment. This does not mean you are responsible for paying the tenant's overdue bill; it simply notifies you of the service disconnection. This plan is available for any residential units you own or manage, and that are enrolled in the Automatic Transfer of Service program.

To enroll in the Landlord-Tenant Property Protection Plan, you and your tenant must complete an enrollment form*, sign it and mail it to DTE Energy.
